Summary: I wrote this because Maya's story is far too complex and serious for the amount of coverage it got in the series.
Warnings: very angsty, gender/emotional issues, self-harm, attempted suicide...
A/N: I feel like this fic deserves a mention. Since my fic is based on the same idea as this one, naturally there are a few similarities (like timings and situations that were mentioned in the drama) but our takes on it are quite different. Posted in celebration of Taiga's birthday.
